Fieldwork

Fieldwork in 2009 was based on excellent partnerships with several distinct projects and organisations and this will continue in 2010. These include:

  • A human physiology study using methods from the “Caudwell Extreme Everest” project
  • Glaciology data collection for NASA
  • Climate change project linked to the Royal Meteorological Society here in the UK
  • Botany Project linked to WWF in India which was continued from last year and from 2008.

This expedition will take place again in 2010 and 2011 and so allow us to build a larger body of knowledge to contribute to wider projects.
